Payment and cancellation rules

How booking works: choose a departure and save your card. Nothing is charged when you book; you are charged only once the group is confirmed. Online booking with a saved card is coming soon. Until then, register your interest for free, and we will let everyone who registered know as soon as it opens.

    Choose your date and number of travellers, and save a card. Stripe stores it securely, and nothing is charged when you book.

  2. 17 days before departureGo or no-go, and the charge

    We decide whether the trip runs, which needs at least 16 paying travellers. If it runs, 100% of the price is charged that day to your saved card and your e-voucher is sent. If it does not run, nothing is charged, your saved card is removed, and we offer you other dates or a private charter quote.

  3. 14 days before departurePayment deadline

    If your bank asks for extra verification, or the card fails, you will receive an email with a payment link. Payment must be complete by 23:59 Vienna time, 14 days before departure, otherwise your seat is released.

For example, for a departure on 20 March: we decide and charge on 3 March, and payment must be complete by 23:59 on 6 March. Cancel by 23:59 on 5 March for a full refund; cancel from 6 to 12 March for a 50% refund; from 13 March cancellations are not refunded (all times Vienna time).

In short

  • The board shows interest registrations, not paid bookings. Even if 16 people have registered interest, whether the trip runs is decided by paid bookings 17 days before departure.
  • Refunds: cancel by 23:59 Vienna time, 15 days before departure, for a full refund (nothing is charged if you have not been charged yet); cancel 14 to 8 days before for a 50% refund; cancellations or no-shows within 7 days of departure are not refunded.
  • If the group does not run, nothing is charged. If we have to cancel a confirmed departure, you get a full refund.

Booking and itinerary notes

  • Departure dates are open for interest registration; actual departures and whether a group runs are confirmed separately.
  • This is a shared group tour. To keep the schedule and the driver's working hours workable, guests board only at the designated meeting point and leave the coach only at the places listed in the itinerary. Individual transfers and ad-hoc changes to pick-up or drop-off points are not available.
  • The exact meeting point, hotel details and the Prague drop-off point (where applicable) are given in the departure notice.
  • Times are planned estimates and may change with traffic, weather, attraction reservations and hotel location.
  • If a guest asks to extend the itinerary, overtime charges are paid in cash to the guide or driver-guide.
  • On the 2- and 3-day tours, solo travellers who cannot be paired with a roommate, or who choose a single room, pay the single-room supplement.
